One of the biggest ways that CAT need volunteers is to answer the Renters’ Rights Hotline. If you live in the Portland metro area and are interested in getting trained to answer the Renters’ Rights Hotline, to find out about the next training.
CAT needs lots of “behind the scenes” volunteers too. Here’s just a few things that we need help with on a regular basis. If you are interested in helping out with one of these, just call 503.460.9702 or !
• Data entry
• Making phone calls- don’t worry, we give you what you need to know!
• Filing, assembling mailings and general office support
• Database experts- we use MS Access
• Tech support in general
• Interpretation and translation- especially Spanish, but other languages also!
• Newsletter and related publication/design
